Cary will talk about her recent book,
Ladysitting: My Year with Nana at the End of her Century.
Lorene Cary’s vibrant, stubborn 99 year old grandmother moves in and everything changes: day-to-day life, family relationships, even their shared past. In her memoir, Cary journeys through five generations of her African American family as she reflects with humor and candor on the challenging reality of caretaking.
There will be a book signing following the presentation.
