What we don’t hear about.

A Conversation with John Riggan

Mt. Airy resident with long-time African experience.

We read about droughts, starvation, and ongoing strife.

Is there any positive news? Or other trends?

John Riggan’s 54 years’ perspective of Africa is based on

work as a Peace Corp volunteer in newly independent Kenya,

years of living and working in East & Central Africa,

consultant with the Ford Foundation, the World Bank, African governments, and others,

and now CEO of a boutique “good guy” investment company, Innovare Advisors,

which is helping in the “transformation” of smallholder agriculture in Africa.
