Meals on Wheels http://chestnuthillmow.org/ works to meet the daily nutritional needs of any Chestnut Hill area resident challenged by illness, disability or age.

West Mt. Airy Neighbors http://www.wman.net/ serves as a community-based volunteer organization committed to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in its richly diverse urban neighborhood.

Northwest Victim Services (NVS) www.northwestvictimservices.org supports victims of crime: crisis support, information about criminal justice procedures, referrals to meet emergency needs, assistance in completing and filing claims for financial assistance. Call the NVS hotline at 267-808-0350
CARIE (Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly) www.carie.org works for the autonomy of older persons through advocacy, education, and action from reporting elder abuse to assistance in choosing a nursing home, to help in unraveling medical care options and housing issues.
