An African American Genealogy Case Study

Lovett Library, 6945 Germantown Ave, Phila

People tend to assume that African Americans can’t trace their ancestry before the late 1800’s.

Natline Thornton will show you how she and her cousins traced their family back through four generations of slaves to the mid 1700’s.

Be inspired, and learn what questions to ask and what strategies to use. Although this session focuses on

an African American case, any genealogist can learn from Natline’s successes

Free. Space is limited. Registration required.  Email marylee@maryleekeane.com to register.
