Laurel Hill Cemetery, founded in 1836 by John Jay Smith, is home to many elaborate grave stones and a landscape arboretum along the banks of the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia. Nancy Goldenberg, President & CEO of Laurel Hill Cemetery will speak about notable "residents" of Laurel Hill East and about green burials. Aaron Greenberg, Arboretum Manager, will talk about its many significant trees and plantings.
